CBO Capacity Building
Our CBO Capacity Building work in Eastern North Carolina supports and strengthens community-based organizations through trust-based relationship development, collaborative assessment, and tailored technical assistance. We partner with organizations as experts of their communities working together to identify strengths, address gaps, and build sustainable capacity in areas like program delivery, funding readiness, and partnerships. This work intentionally builds toward community power equipping CBOs with the leadership, connections, and tools needed to inform decision-makers and influence policies and systems. Through leadership development, peer learning, and collective action, we support organizations not only in meeting immediate needs, but in driving long-term, community-led change. Our CBO partners include:

NC Benefits Collective
The NC Public Benefits Collective works to improve the lives of North Carolinians by increasing access to public benefits that support health, economic opportunity, and workforce participation. The Collective strengthens the exchange of information between community-based organizations, advocates, and public partners to identify barriers, share solutions, and align strategies for systems change and policy advocacy. Through this coordinated effort, North Carolina can become a better place to live for all residents and a national leader in advancing public health through accessible and effective public benefits systems.
