This engaging lecture will examine the social determinants of health and focus on how health and the prevalence of disease is influenced by our social, physical, and genetic environments. Dr. Lushniak will discuss the second edition of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans and reflect on the extensive new knowledge gained since the first guidelines in 2008.
