Media & Training

In-person assisters play a vital role in North Carolina’s efforts to educate consumers about their health insurance options under the Affordable Care Act; enroll them into coverage on the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace; and teach them how to use their insurance, including helping consumers understand confusing health insurance terminology, like co-pays and deductibles. For those consumers who do not qualify for coverage under the ACA, in-person assisters can help them locate other low-cost resources in their local community, like community health centers and free clinics.

NC Get Covered appreciates the compassion, dedication and skill that North Carolina assisters bring to your work every day. Below is a list of training resources to help ensure your continued success as we all strive to reach the remaining uninsured in our state.
